LTC Robert A. Morschauser

Lieutenant Colonel Robert D. Morschauser is a native of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Trenton State College, Trenton , New Jersey, he was commissioned in 1987 through 51st Company, Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, Georgia.

LTC Morschauser has served in a variety of leadership and staff positions to include: Company Fire Support Officer, Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Republic of Korea: Platoon Fire Direction Officer and then Platoon Leader, serving in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, A Battery, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 39th Field Artillery Regiment, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Division Artillery S-4 and then Commander, Headquarters, Headquarters and Service Battery, 7th Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 7th Infantry Division (Light), Fort Ord, CA; Commander, C Battery, 1st Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC; Firing Battery and Senior Light Task Force Fire Support Trainer, the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA; Current Operations Officer, XVIII Airborne Corps Artillery and then S-3, 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment and S-3, 18th Field Artillery Brigade (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC; Fire Support Officer, the Joint Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, NC. During deployments to Operation Iraqi Freedom, LTC Morschauser served as a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) Detachment Commander and Fire Support Officer in support of a Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force.

LTC Morschauser's military education includes the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advance Courses, Infantry Officer Advanced Course, Airborne and Air Assault Courses, Ranger Course, Jumpmaster Course, Field Artillery Aerial Observer Course, Joint Firepower Controller's Course, and the Command and General Staff College. He holds a Master's Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.

LTC Morschauser's awards include two Bronze Star Medals, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, three Meritorious Service Medals, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Five Army Commendation Medals, the Air Force Commendation Medal, four Army Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, the Korea Defense Service Medal, the Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, the Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Ranger Tab.
