Oustide Department Interactions

You are the face of the department when you are outside of it. Be polite, kind, and courtesy. Do not use profanity or talk in an unprofessional manner. Remember to smile and great others. For example, when walking down the hallway it is custom to smile and say good morning etc. to each other. If you see that someone is lost, do not try to avoid them because you are in a hurry. When giving directions, you need to walk them to their destination. Instructions that may make sense to you may confuse them. Even when you are on your phone, you need to interact with guest if needed. You can always return to your phone once you are done.
