Scott A. Sharkey
Brief bio
Scott Sharkey currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Computer Science and Web Development departments at Franklin University. He has more than 30 years experience in the technology field including postions as a PC Coordinator and Network Manager at Battelle Memorial Institute, VP of Software Development at iLAN, Sr Software Developer at inVentiv Communications, Sr Software Developer at Qbase, LLC. He has also founded two computer software and consulting/web development companies and is currently President of LANshark Consulting Group, LLC. He has extensive experience with open source software, software development methodology, object-oriented programming languages, design patterns and unix/linux systems administration. He has developed web sites with over 200K subscribers and for some of the biggest names in Columbus and around the country. When not teaching or playing with software he enjoys sports (especially football and hockey), his family, painting, and reading science fiction.
