SIFE is a global, non-profit organization that works to change the world through the positive power of business and to develop the next generation of business leaders. SIFE has chapters at over 1500 university campuses in 37 countries. The organization provides students with the opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, by working on projects and learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise.

Through the guidance of faculty advisers, and supported by top companies around the world, SIFE teams work on projects and educational outreach projects that teach the importance of entrepreneurship, market economics, success skills, business ethics, and environmental sustainability. SIFE holds competitions each year, and teams compete at a regional, national, and international level, where they present their years activities. Fortune 500 companies regularly seek out and recruit SIFE members and also sponsor certain SIFE projects.
