Steps Taken to Manipulate the Photo:
I imported the image into the Organizer, and placed the image file into the Project Bin.
I saved a duplicate copy of the photograph, and placed it into the Editor's Work Space.
I selected Smart Brush tool from the Tool Menu,
went to the Preset drop down menu, and chose the Black & White option.
From there, I selected the High Contrast Red Filter
option. This tool was used to fill in the background
area around my image. I kept the cooler, coolie cup,and myself with original colors.
Next, I imported three image files from my documents into the editor. Since the moon image had a black
background, I simply dragged it into the upper-left corner of the photograpgh.
For the Teddy Bear and Smiley Cup images, I removed the background colors by tracing their images,
choosing the Inverse option from Select menu, copying their images into new image file with a transparent
background. I then dragged each one into the photograpgh, and used the Move tool to adjust their size and
positions accordingly (NOTE: a layer is automatically created for each image placed into the photograpgh)
Next, I used the Text tool to type in the message on the photograph.
Last, I resized the original and final photos to a 72ppi resolution with a 6" X 4" in size, and used the
Save For The Web option from the File menu.
